Club Stix's First Contest

Yep, you heard right!

Club Stix is having its very first animation Contest!

Though the Contest still hasn't been approved by most of the founders, I wanted to give you guys the heads up! So be looking out for the soon to be contest!


PLayer Match Ups

Well, i guess its about time we made CS moar fun!

PLAYER MATCH UPS!

For those who have not a clue wat i'm talking about:

A. Go slap yourself
B. Keep reading, then go slap yourself :'D!

Anyway, CS's Player Matches, which is going to be known as RFK ~Ready For Kombat~ or SSR ~Supreme Stix Rumble~ (lol, yea leave me a comment, if you can come up with a better name XD)

Player Match up is all about battling! where you, and your opponent battle it out with your animation skillz!

You create a char, and give come up with a special power or nice weapon that makes him unique. then once your done, you can look around and find someone who you wish to challenge (best to keep it around the same skill level) And you both make a animation of your Char owning your opponents char! and once your both done (and your opponent didn't forfeit like a chicken). You post your animations, and let one of the Founders of Club-Stix know, so they can have the members of Club-Stix vote for a winner! EASY AS PIE!

What do you think? At the moment everything isn't really organized very well, so i will try and update it later (yea, i suck) Depending on how many people like the idea, we'll keep the "PLayer Match up" here XD! so let us know what you think of this idea!

Also you can scroll to the bottom to see, what it would look like if "player match up was up"

Btw: this type of thing has been done a lot of times on animating forums, so its not really original, but i thought it be fun if CS had one :'D!

Objectives (Animate the subjects listed below)

Rules: UPdated 5/12/08

1. All subjects in Packs must be Completed all together (meaning everything must be placed into one whole animation)
2. You cannot use old animations you already made (you'll receive a point reduction)
3. Must include the name Club-Stix some where in the animation, or it won't be counted
4. Based on the quality of your animation (something that look like you put no kind of effort into) You will receive point reductions
5. Unless its a pack, you don't have to complete everything at the same time, you can animate them separately and still gain points !
6. IF its NOT IN a pack, then you can complete that set as many times as you like (But don't do it too much, or we won't count it!)

DBZ Animation (No time limit & Needs a blast, teleporting and a combo): 40 pts [By ~SSOutPhase]

50 Hit Combo (30+ seconds): 75 pts [By ~SSOutPhase]

Assassination Animation (60+ seconds, infiltration (eg. Breaking through a window), decapitations, 30+ victims, 5+ different weapons): 175 points [by ~AgentCat]

Scenery Duel (No time limit, Fights in air, water and space, One on One fight, Someone getting smashed into an object or the ground): 100 points [By ~AgentCat]

Player Match Ups

RULES:

1. You cannot Challenge another person who hasn't been placed onto the "Available PLayers list"
2. You cannot Challenge anyone if your not on the "Available PLayers List"
3. You can only challenge Club Stix Members
4. You cannot Challenge the same person Twice in a Row
5. If you wish to challenge a Player you must note both the Player, and Club stix of your challenge (SO we can add you and your opponent to the "Current Matches List")

2 - ITS ALL ABOUT THAT GRAVITY- First to complete Physics [25pts]

3 - SHOWY- First to complete Effects [20pts]

4 - PIECE OF CAKE- First to Complete a challenge [30pts]

5- EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM- First to Complete 3 Challenges [30pts]

A: Make sure your stick is unselected and using the Ink Bottle tool, click on the stick.

A: You need Flash 8 or higher. Make a movieclip and under the properties tab, click "filters" and add a filter and choose blur. You can change the options of how much you want to blur.
